Functional Family Therapy - Foster Care (FFT-FC)

Functional Family Therapy in Foster Care (FFT-FC) is a nationally researched and evidenced-based model of intensive in-home family therapy for foster youth and families involved in the Child Welfare system.

Functional Family Therapy - Foster Care provides intensive in-home therapy to youth and their foster families while the youth await a permanency placement.  FFT-FC serves the most at-risk youth and families involved in the Foster Care system. FFT-FC has demonstrated that families participating are significantly more successful when the child(ren) are reunited from the foster placement.  FFT-FC is unique in that it works both with the biological family AND the foster family. The foster families are trained specifically to work with the most challenging population in the Child Welfare system.
